Defn: "Practice: repeated exercise in or performance of an activity or skill so as to acquire or maintain proficiency in it"

Quote: The more I practice, the luckier I become

If you want to improve, you must practice. You will practice the fundamentals of the game every time your stroke goes off the rails and you can't figure out why.

But you must practice with a purpose. Just throwing balls on the table and hitting them around will not benefit you. In fact, it will probably hurt.

You must never accept that you tried a shot and simply missed; Missing does not just happen; you must know why.

So you must study the game; understand why things happen; understand why your moods affect your game; understand what happens when you hit the cue ball, when the cue ball hits the object ball, when the object ball hits the jaws of a pocket.

Practice with a purpose.

Here I have written down the fundamental skills that you need to strart improving.

Practice them, with a passion.

Good luck
